"Stacking the deck" at Newton Upper FallsBX-5 takes advantage of the lack of road crossings to block out his cars for local industries. The 0663 is faced and the crewman inside the curve in the distance is placed, for visual communication, in an era well before radios. When switching is done the engine will run around the cars. That move is necessary to serve customer sidings both on the branch and off the lead, which serves the Industrial Center in Needham.
