So glad you and others captured the New Haven in its last decade. The B&M may have been the nostalgic favorite at the time but the New Haven still had just about everything you wanted in a railroad, all in a relatively concentrated area. You had fast main lines and electrification, fascinating branch lines still supporting passenger trains, A variety of passenger and freight power from EMD, Alco and Fairbanks Morse not to mention some early diesel yard switchers and RDCs including the unique Roger Williams equipment. It had a big long-distance and passenger fleet ranging from heavy weights to late era stainless steel and through trains from Washington. It had parlor cars, sleeping cars diners and and lounge cars, RPOs and express cars. It had many open depots, towers and many semaphore signals. It was a major freight hauler with time freights and even named freights and an amazing labyrinth of industrial customers. It had two major commuter operations at each end and It had the most magnificent approach to New York via the Hell Gate Bridge..
