Again, thanks for bringing back to life this transitional era with excellent photography and comment. I remember riding the "dome" of this train when Penn Central took over. Great views of the fast fading old New Haven. Was a great ride at a then unheard of speed of about 120 on f the "racetrack" across south central Rhode Island. I didn't realize that the Turbo lasted this long into the Amtrak era
