PAS 287 Mystery...

Why is the FI-2 crew using Pan Am's newest power to pull a 287 empty auto rack train west through CPF-AY? Ordinarily a pair of NS or NS provided diesels would be doing the honors but apparently these two C40-Ws were used by the AY-5 crew to bring the 28N's autos to Sanvel unload earlier in the AM. At any rate, note that the conductor is riding the last car of the cut, a cripple, that will be spotted on the South track. Wouldn't mind having the MBTA propane concession for CPF-AY!
