reopening North Station

This was the modest waiting room of the 1928 version of Boston's North Station as train service resumed following a 15-month suspension caused by the Charles River trestle fire. The old Boston Garden is above that ceiling.

I remember standing on the North Station train platform and watching rats running around the head house. And the old Boston Gardner - awful obstructed view seating (TV monitors were placed in many locations around the seats so one could see the action)! But it did get noisy during games!
