MEC 566 GP-7 shoving empties for spotting at Ethan Allen factory. Engine house used to be three stalls. When down sized kept middle stall so would be straight shot across table (snow gets deep in winter). No need to turn engine, train will change direction two more times before arriving at St. Johnsbury, VT.(Groveton and Quebeck Junction).

Terrific set of MEC photos. From I can see on-line, Ethan Allen still operates this plant that abuts the Canadian border in far northeastern Vermont but there's no indication there was ever a RR servving the facility as all track and structures have been eradicated from this scene. Great look back in time!
