The 2018 Last Hurrah for New England Southern

Saturday, 12/29 was New England Southern's last run of the season. Unlike last year's ultra frigid temperatures, this year's weather for the last run of 2018 for NEGS was perfect.

Here the NEGS Crew passed an old semaphore signal relic in Tilton, located just slightly to the north of the northern most of the three nearby spans that cross the Winnipesaukee River. This is easy to see along side the Winnipesaukee River "Rail with Trail" set up.

The NEGS Crew delivered this tank car to 3M in Tilton, and took two empties south to Concord. The NEGS Crew also took their usual steps to secure their 'active winter portion' of the line from Concord to the northern end of Canterbury Yard.

Always great to catch the New England Southern Crew taking care of business !
