New England States Departs South Station

In 1966 there was nothing but RDC's going in and out of North Station, but out of South Station there was still plenty of long distance trains that included Pullmans, diners, parlor cars, RPO's,Railway Express cars, baggage cars, E units and FL9's not to mention the vintage equipment on commuter runs. Here NYC's "New England States" starts its journey to Chicago. featuring quite an impressive train with plenty of Pullmans.
