This is a garden variety roster shot of a then 35+ year old ex-N&W high hood GP40 at the Willows taken in January 2002 but it's also the only photo I have of a pristine GRS workhorse locomotive. I'm guessing it was recently painted but I don't know as it's been on the property since fall of 1997 when it was acquired from N&W. I don't believe this unit is operating today but it may be in storage at Waterville.
