Time Running Out

It won't be long until all the self powered RDC runs will end for the MBTA. Here is a two car train zipping through Belmont bound for Boston. B&M is the contract operator for Commuter Rail service and does an amazing job with meager resources. Before HEP arrives RDCs will be downgraded to retain one engine per car only for "housekeeping" lights, heat, and AC and will used be along with diesel locomotives as cab cars in push pull service.
