Fraternal twins at Palmer

On the left is the power set for the Palmer based local 603 with ex-L&N SD40-2 while on the right is ex-Cotton Belt SD40M-2 leading arriving Brattleboro-Palmer turn train 611. 3476 and its three SD40 mates have cut away from the inbound 611 consist so that 3478 and its Rail America painted GP40 partner can tie on to pull train down to yard south of the CSX diamond. 3476 will momentarily tie onto the outbound 611 consist to return to Brattleboro. Note the slight variation in the nose herald application.
