Potluck at Bird's Hill.

The end of Old Colony service 6/30/1959, freed up enough hood units, RDCs and coaches to shake up equipment assignments on the remaining Boston commuter trains. Prior to that event, the last Needham Branch coach train of the morning rush, was a quick round trip, originating in Boston and thus powered by any unit available. In July this train would become a string of RDCs.
