A smart looking new sign has recently been erected on rte 16 identifying the driveway that accesses G&U's transload facility. But it looks any further progress on Hopedale yard track construction is on hold at least until the snow melts?

Not so certain about hold. As of December 12 the connection to the other end is ready to be installed, spikes have been inserted for one of the rails the full length, and piles of ties and rails have been growing. Slow progress, but progress.
