My FavoriteCall it a buggy, hack or shack, the old wood sheathed cabooses used by the Central Vermont (and CNR) were my favorites. They had a really solid look about them. Thick walls and coal stoves kept out the winter chill. They also had distinctive multipaned cupola windows. Who would think they would all be replaced soon by ETDs. EOTs, and/or FREDs Give me one of these with a pair of Adlake Non-Sweating, 4-lens, oil markers on the end of a train. This one, the CV 4002, is in the CV's Brattleboro, VT yard awaiting its next assignment. Can you believe the built date (BLT) of 1-10; that's January 1910!
