Train 2160 About to Pass Train 86 at Kingston Station

Amtrak Acela 2021, operating as train 2160 on track 2, is about to overtake train 86 behind AMTK 658 (ACS-64), standing still on track 1 and waiting for a signal at Kingston Interlocking to crossover and follow train 2160 to Providence and Boston. As 2160 passes 86, it will reduce the amount of colorful sky in the background visible over the trains. This and the adjacent photo were shot in burst mode and were separated by a small fraction of a second, perhaps 1/5 or 1/7. An Acela at track speed here covers a lot of track in that time.
