MBTA Franklin Branch double tracking progress - 1

Here's the view east from the rte 115 grade crossing in downtown Norfolk (such as it is) as of Saturday 2/22/20. Phase 1 of 3 is complete with 4 miles of new double track in use east to Walpole. Although the ex-New Haven Midland Line RoW conforms to the gently rolling hills, the Franklin branch supports 70mph commuter train operation.
