These blue RSGU containers (trash?) have also been recently spotted on the Worcester Main at Greendale so I'm guessing these cars on ED-8 will be put on a Q427 (or extra Q427) heading south/west out of Ayer for CSX/Selkirk. If true, these cars ordinarily would use RJED/EDRJ when Hoosac Tunnel accessible. I've read postings on the interweb that the currently used VRS re-route via Bellows Falls/Rutland has limited height clearance and also that VRS doesn't handle 89 ft long cars. Maybe somebody else can verify/correct this....
