CSX B721 charging east through Wellesley Farms

Apologies for the extremely cheesy quality of this iPhone grab shot from October 2016 but I post it for its historic significance as this Framingham - Beacon Park/Everett turn represents the last vestige of CSX freight service into Boston. All the IM service lanes terminate/originate at Worcester while the only road freights east of Worcester, Q436/Q437, call Framingham as their terminal. By mid-2018, even B721 was no longer serving Boston area as the Everett produce / scrap business was ceded to Pan Am in exchange for CSX extending operation of the Pan Am interchange freight traffic from Worcester to Ayer. The once vibrant ex-B&A line east of Worcester now sees 40 daily MBTA trains and Amtrak's Boston extension of the Lake Shore Ltd. Ho hum...
