This was from late Wednesday afternoon, here was MEC 350 tied down by the former Concord Yard Tower, or by Gas Street. This train went north to Concord on Tuesday evening, through the Tropical Storm whose name that's hard to pronounce. ;-) It appeared there was no NA-1 Crew on, yesterday, the NA-2 Crew did the runaround and took the train south with their first stop being to service Ciment Quebec.

Some Pan Am engines appear on these rails often, other do not. 350 is a very rare sighting, as this engine was usually based in East Deerfield. 350 is (or was) equipped with cab signals to run over Amtrak trackage to CT. There are many photos of 350 out there, around Plainville CT.

350 has an earlier version of Pan Am's blue paint. The spotting feature is on the Engineer's side where the Pan Am Railways lettering leans left towards the back of the locomotive to match the right leaning lettering on the Conductor's side. 307, 326, 327, 352, 370 (RIP), 506, 516, and 517 are all lettered the exact same way.
