The NEGS 2.0 Crew with PLLX 105 in Tilton

The Hobo & Winnipesaukee Scenic's newly acquired SW1000's journey through New Hampshire started on Monday morning 8/31 when 105 was set off on the Northern Main in North Chelmsford. The Pan Am crews got 105 to the Concord Runaround by Wednesday morning 9/2. That afternoon the NEGS 2.0 Crew operated the 105 and brought it north to Lochmere so the H & WS Crews could take it north onto their home rails the next day.

Here was the NEGS 2.0 Crew with PLLX 105 as they passed by the billboards on Laconia Road (Route 3) in Tilton, Their day ended at the Lochmere siding, about a mile north of this spot.

Since then, PLLX 105 appears to be ready for the big time, and has been tried out on recent Hobo Railroad and Lafayette Dinner Train excursions. New decals have been applied, new number boards added, the cab door has been fixed, the single note horn replaced, a big clean up, and more to make 105 look like a presentable puller.
