MEC 518 in ManchesterHere was MEC 518 from late Wednesday afternoon (9/29) in Manchester. The cars you can see are empties from Pan Am's Merrimack clients. The Bow and Concord empties are not visible, but the Downtown Manchester skyline is. MEC 518 has been a common sighting on these New Hampshire Rails in 2021. Built in 1976, this ex-CN GP40-2(w), is fully equipped with ACSES technology to operate in MBTA territory.
