An abandoned diamond is a rare sight. Usually one line gets abandoned first and the diamond is removed long before the other line dies off.

Funny you posted that. I drove by that yesterday and almost took a pic myself. I had just left Framingham and was tracking the old roadbed.

When you think of the traffic that has passed over this diamond-both ways.
Back in the 50's after visiting relatives we used to pass by here and back then, it looked like a busy rail junction.
