ex-GM&O GP38 built in 1969 soldiers on for New England Central setting out interchange for CSX at Palmer late on a February afternoon. Two months earlier, NECR became a ward of the international Genesee & Wyoming conglomerate but orange and black livery hasn't appeared on the property just yet.
