The loaded grain train comes off the East Wye at Ayer, MA heading to Horizon Milling. Guessing this train may have come East across the B&A rather than over the West End.

Your guess is correct
Ardent Milling simply could no longer tolerate consistent transit times of one week to get its grain moved from Rotterdam to Ayer by the best railroad in the world, so that railroad was short hauled by CSXT
