Photo of NA-1 315 by the Wilton NH Freight House
NA-1 315 by the Wilton NH Freight House

From 4/25, late afternoon sun makes for great photos near the end of the Pan Am owned portion of the Hillsboro Branch in Wilton NH. Both the Wilton Freight House, and the Wilton Passenger station remain, and both repurposed for private enterprises. The north side of the Wilton Freight house has more appeal for pictures. Milford-Bennington RR also has operating rights over these same tracks, as they bring their loaded gravel trains through.

The NA-1 Crew was getting ready to do their runaround, and they would head south with three empties in tow.

MEC 315 had over two weeks time on These NH Rails through the end of April into almost mid May. Guilford painted engines live on, as MEC 509 is now the current road power for the Nashua Crews.
