NA-1 517 in Bow

After grabbing an empty at Bow Blue Seal, the NA-1 Crew backed south to tie on to the rest of their train. Because of it's length, the rest of the cars were left south of the Hall Street Crossing. The rustic wooden "XC" crossing post had a new more formal sign post version installed a few years ago.

The NA-1 Crew, took 517 north into Concord with a load of poles, and a string of Ciment Quebec cars, and did their runaround.

While many of the wide-nose-cab 500's have seen these NH rails over the years, this is the first known 517 sighting in well over a decade. MEC 517 was built for Canadian National in 1976 as their 9660.
