West Shore Main along Hudson River

Fireman's seat view from NYC E unit southbound along the Hudson passing northbound NYC silver fleet. Steam heat reminiscent of the past some of us may not be old enough to remember. Looks like main track needs to be flanged.

There was nothing cozier than sitting in a steam-heated coach or roomette when it was cold and wintry outside like this.

Of course this is the East Shore. Dyslexia is an old age thing, I think.
