Visitor Comments about this Photo:Was this wyeing done on the former New Haven trackage at Framingham? In pre-PC days this would not have happened. So interesting that a freight engine (a New Haven Alco at that) was used to deadhead back to Boston (Beacon Park, I am assuming). I wonder if the passenger power was on the other end. An interesting era with PC still doing commuter rail. Posted by Ron DeFilippo on 2023-04-30 07:13:50 "Wyeing" was done on former NYC's Milford Branch ( line going down to GM Auto plant). C-425's were only power on each train. Deadhead move back to Boston would put the power and consist back on the New Haven side.
