Terrific photo! DId B&M route this run via Concord from White River Junction or via E Deerfield? After witnessing 2102 climb west out of Nesquehoning PA on RBM&N excursion pulling an 18 +/- car passenger excursion last year, I'm surprised that PC felt that helpers were needed over the Berkshires. 2102 is an ear-splittingly loud locomotive when working hard!

Train moved via Concord over the Northern. Put on quite a show climbing grade southbound from West Lebanon and Lebanon. Over tonnage B&M freights sometimes would get a push by Yard switcher which would be a S-2 or S-4.
