From Sunday 5/28, here was the recent inbound 16R / outbound 11R power getting turned at Ayer. The Savannah & Atlanta Heritage engine, looks like it's seen lots of heritage across the NS system since it's Show Pony debut in May 2012. This train will head west to East Binghampton NY, with a stop in Mechanicville NY.

This lineup included:
NS 6959 SD60E (Rebuilt to an SD60E in 4/2014. Was originally NS 6601, standard cab SD60, built 7/1985)
NS 1029 SD70ACe - built new in 10/2011
SN 1065 SD70ACe - built new in 5/2012.

The 6959 is equipped with the proper software and hardware to operate within MBTA territory.
