PC 5889 (X-NYC ???) GP-7 part of a Bow Coal Train engine consist being serviced at Concord. Can't make out stenciling by lower left of cab. Also, couldn't confirm that it is a former NYC unit. Maybe a subsidiary of NYC?

How do you tell when fuel tank is full? Apparently when fuel pours out filler on other side...

Some investigative work using Railroad Picture Archives indicates that this was former PRR 8509. This PC unit even went on to be marked CR 5889. From other photos of similar units, the lettering appears to be trust stenciling.
