P&L 302 @ the Historic Laconia Passenger Station

There are two easy ways to get to Laconia Motorcycle Week at Weirs Beach, take the Bike Week Trains from either the 1892 built Historic Laconia Passenger Station, or Meredith Station.

Train service running north from Laconia to Weirs is brand new this year, with service expanded into the evening. First trains to Weirs Beach depart Meredith at 10:00 am, and Laconia @ 11:15 am. Last trains leave Weirs Beach for Laconia at 9:00 pm, and Meredith at 10:30 pm.. Train service resumes for the last weekend of Bike Week this Friday (6/14) & Saturday (6/15)

P&L 302 is an almost 74 year old GP7 that was built new for the Rock Island. New England Southern acquired the GP7 in the 1980's, Plymouth & Lincoln purchased 302 in the late 1990's and their shop crew fixed it up and lowered the nose..
