Amtrak Train 87 Skipping Kingston

AMTK 617 operates through Kingston hauling train 87 at track speed about 12 minutes after train 161 had stopped. This should not ordinarily cause operating headaches, as 161's next stop is New Haven while 87 handles Westerly, Mystic, New London, and Old Saybrook
A non-stop regional, with the flatter front on the ACS-64, throws off about a good a breeze as a passing Acela despite the somewhat slower, but still very fast, speed.
