Acela AMTK 2012, operating as train 2169, races by train 137 at Kingston after 137 had boarded most of is outbound passengers This photo was shot just 2 minutes after the photo of 137 clearing up and 2169 felt like it was proceeding at full speed. Both trains progressed from Providence to Kingston in about the usual time I would expect for trains of their types, so the move worked well the dispatcher's point of view, I would say.
