B&M History - Former Lexinton Branch

I took a bike ride on the remnant of the Boston and Maine RR Lexington Branch from Bedford Depot to Technology Park Drive in Billerica. Bedford has 3 bike trails on former B&M lines. The most well known is the paved trail from Bedford Depot to the MBTA Alewife station in West Cambridge. Today I chose the less known trail called the Narrow Gauge Rail Trail. Here is a little bit of 2 foot gauge track next to the trail. The gray building in the far background is Bedford Depot.
