Looking North from overpass over ex-railroad yardThe Braga Bridge over the Sakonnet River carries Interstate 195 between Providence and the Cape. A few hundred feet beyond it was the road/rail bridge that carried the New Haven branch across the river from Providence to Fall River and became one of the first NH branches to be abandoned around 1930. Taken from the southern end of the Fall River railroad yard on the Old Colony and the New Haven.
