CPN20 in Merrimack

Going under this bridge will take you to a boat ramp on the Merrimack River. This section of Merrimack is known as Reed's Ferry, probably named, like Hill's Ferry Road in Nashua, for a ferry across the Merrimack River that probably left from what became this boat ramp. There are also some water channels going under this bridge, which were probably diverted from the Merrimack River before the trains came to serve a long abandoned mill that Mill Street, I am guessing, was named after. I didn't hunt for the remains of this mill, but taking a left on Mill Street will probably take you there. To get here, go down Depot Street and take a right on Mill Street, you'll see it from there. This is also CPN20.
