Whitting Viaduct / East Cannan Ct.

The Whitting Viaduct in East Cannan Ct. in November 1994. The (Original)Central New England RR built this viaduct to cross the Whitting River & a local road in 1870. It's still there today but there hasn't been a train crossing it since about 1938 when the NYNH&H RR removed the rails as they abandoned the line

Photographed by Stephen S. Gow, November, 1994.
