The "Corkscrew" RR (Abandoned)

The abandonded ROW of the old "Corkscrew" division of the former Rutland Railroad, looking north towards Route 20 in the town of Brainard, NY
(west of New Lebanon) in March, 2009. The line
used to cross Route 20 at grade in the distance.
The track was removed in 1953, and a power line now follows much of the old ROW. I am told that the Lebanon Valley drag strip now runs on a stretch
of the former roadbed.
