Not far from the stone arch bridge is this old telegraph pole. Poles are plentiful on this ROW, but this is the only one I know of that has a suspention cable. No, there's no insulators on any of them. They've all been collected or, before they became valuable, shot off by local kids for kicks. This part of the railroad,(Rochester, NH-Spingvale), was abandoned in 1952.
