Photo of Claremont & Concord: Sunapee Lake
Claremont & Concord: Sunapee Lake

I'm exploring the Boston & Maine's former Claremont & Concord mainline. The C&C shortline took over these tracks in 1954. My digital camera died so I had to buy a camera and have my prints scanned. Sorry for the poor quality.

This caboose is on display right next to Rt 103 along Sunapee Lake. It is on the right of way. The tracks were abandoned here in 1964.

The Milepost says it's 22 miles to Claremont Junction.
