VTR B&R action -- Thursday January 29, 2015

Optional -- no track needed.
GMTX 9000 heads southbound into the passing siding at Manchester Vt. to run around a load for delivery to Miles Lumber and finds the front truck wheelset on a "trackless mission."
High ice at the crossing from the recent snowstorm was the culprit -- and with some gentle easing backwards the errant truck came back rerailed into "normal" status. Quite a bit of chopping (and "saintly" words spoken) allowed the delivery to continue later. The same crew must feel "snake-bitten" as earlier in the week on the Green Mountain while rounding a curve they came upon a "Jeep" abandoned in the gauge in the middle of nowhere.
