PanAm Southern empty coal train westbound -- Thursday March 19, 2015Eagle Bridge NY was extremely busy late in the afternoon of Thursday March 19. A special XO-1 came light power with NS 7574e to the Batten Kill, then a following 22K passed through heading east. The light NS engine was a recipient of a "pass-off" of 41 (stored) garbage container spine cars by the BKRR Alco #4116 and headed back west. Last (but not least) the waiting westbound empty coal train (NS 2513w - 8760w - 7706e) got a green signal to follow on the heels of the "spine special" and is just ramping up their acceleration as they come out of the #1 track at milepost 448.
