A special photo taken on a special night. I took this photo on the Coltsville Industrial Track at Pittsfield, Mass. on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2008. I went out that evening to pick up a coffee and I stopped by to photograph the Housatonic Railroad locomotive. The light shinning through the cab window is from a light shinning through from a light in the background. It does look a bit like a Christmas star. This track is now abandoned and is scheduled to be removed to the extend a rail trail. The track used to extend all the way north to North Adams, MA.
