Charlemont Derailment

MP407 in Charlemont, MA. Site of an 18 car derailment on 2/27/17.

The power from 28N is used to help pull the first of 18 derailed cars back on the track. The location is right along South River Rd in Charlemont and is at almost the exact spot of another derailment a few years back.

All the cars managed to stay upright and were cleared by the next morning. Crews expect to get the line up and running by tomorrow.
