Photo of Ayer, MA
Ayer, MA

EDPO eastbound crossing Harvard-Groton Road on Trk 1. I enjoy viewing railroad infrastructure that is well maintained. Case in point this is MBTA territory and the hand throw switch on Trk 2 (electric lock east end of South Trk) target has fresh coat of red paint and no debris on ground. On the other side, east of crossing off Trk 1 No 1 and 2 Flannigan sidings have derail and switch stand targets with fresh coat of paint (red for main line and yellow for other than main track).
