eastbound Merchants

The New Haven's premier runs on the Shore Line were trains 26 and 27, the Merchants Limited, scheduled in the late 1960s for a 4 hour 15 minute run between Grand Central and South Station. At dusk, the eastbound Merchants arrived at New Haven with an all-lightweight consist behind the usual pair of FL9s.
