MEC 507 at the Concord Runaround Track

Pan Am's Heritage Unit was in the Capital City ! Since 507's repaint return into the Guilford colors early last August, this was the first time 507 has been sighted on 'These New Hampshire Rails'. Here was the NA-1 Crew with a double runaround today on a cold winter's day.

This is 507's first appearance on these rails, since February 2017. The prior paint job was excellent too, as it wore the Pan Am blue after a repaint in the NRE Paducah, Kentucky Shops for GATX. 507 was sent off to the Bluegrass State for a rebuild after a nasty cab fire in Feb 2014 around the Portsmouth area.

Nice to see this Heritage Unit being used on the Northern Main. How long 507 stays around is yet to been determined, but I hope it's for a few weeks anyway.
