Busy Afternoon at Rockingham Jct - Train #4 - POAY

Shortly after the passage of both Downeasters, the dispatcher told POAY he would be making his pickup off the East Wye and to watch out for DO-1, who would be at the far end of the 'controlled siding' and he would need authority to pass the red signal. Obviously this is another case of an old name being retained long after its original use had meaning; the 'East Wye' is the only connection track to Portsmouth branch and has been for quite a while, as the diamond and any other wye legs have been gone for many years.
Here POAY passes the Rockingham Jct depot with MEC 7643 and MEC 7609 (C40-8's); it would hang on to 15 cars while picking up about 18 more from Portsmouth, all but 2 empty LPG tank cars.
