These units will replace old diesel/electric switchers. What they will be moving is a mystery since very little rail traffic runs in/out of the Yard. Possibly heavy canister cars of spent nuclear fuel from refitted submarines?

Hi Chris,

Cool to see. What was the trucking form? Did you notice? Nice pictures. There is a guy from Atlantic track in Memphis who has been to Kittery to look at thier switches and build some stuff for them. Nice to see new power, even if it is rubber tired + RR wheels for guidence. Cheers--Karl
